Around chapter 15 I became worn out by the numerous short pithy bicolons, two line proverbs. It is not clear to me why these proverbs are listed as they are -- at times they seem to be quite random and some repeat the main idea of previous proverbs; a few appear a second time, word for word. I had already read over 150 of them in chapters 10 through 14 and they were becoming repetitive. I decided to embrace this repetitiveness by collecting them according to their major themes. Guided by Kidner's commentary, I organized the proverbs into subject studies.
